Abstract: Gaskets, including aircraft gaskets, are disclosed, the gaskets having an elastomeric gel body and substantially incompressible skeletons. The bodies may be pliable and deformable and, in one example, may be comprised of a two-part chemically cured polyurethane that sets up as a gel after mixing with the web so that it is fully integral with the web and so that there is substantially no air bubbles or air pockets left in the web. The web may be a regular shaped web and made of nylon.

Her chosen Photofest photograph, “Flagella” was specially comprised of acrylic paint, duck sauce, oil, food dye, and egg.   “It’s something that just looking at it you wouldn’t know that,” says Magar, who chooses to name the works in this series after organic matter. “I name the pieces after different cells, plants or parts of the human body since they tend to mimic these things when I compare them side by side in anatomy books.”    Exhibiting her artwork is just one source of excitement for Magar. Additionally, she’s interested in the feedback she’ll receive from the Tallahassee community and wants viewers to find a sense of wonderment in figuring out each image.     In 10 years’ time, Magar hopes to be creating another type of wonder by giving her own students the same support she is thankful to have received. As an arts educator or therapist, she hopes to provide resources and safe spaces for expression, as well as instill life-long lessons.

The funeral arrangements for Mr. George Alfred Gormley were held on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Dave Grove and Mr. Matthew Miller officiating.

Mrs. McClain is survived by her grandchildren, Shannon Cofer, Brandy Durocher, Catrina Crawford, Bo McClain, Bobby McClain, Crystle Wigley, Eric McClain and Bryan Adams; and great-grandchildren, Brayden Durocher, River Durocher, Jonas Wigley, Brooklyn Durocher, Autumn Cofer, Isabeau McClain, Rainey McClain, Bobby McClain, IV, Jon Adams, Bridgett Adams, Emily Adams, Tuesday Adams and Autumn Adams.

The three Laureates’ use of topological concepts in physics was decisive for their discoveries. Topology is a branch of mathematics that describes properties that only change step-wise. Using topology as a tool, they were able to astound the experts. In the early 1970s, Michael Kosterlitz and David Thouless overturned the then current theory that superconductivity or suprafluidity could not occur in thin layers. They demonstrated that superconductivity could occur at low temperatures and also explained the mechanism, phase transition, that makes superconductivity disappear at higher temperatures.
