Data for the structures were collected on a Rigaku Oxford Diffraction Gemini-S S1 diffractometer with a Sapphire3 detector. Cu-Kα radiation was used with a graphite monochromator and a fiber-optics Mo-Enhance collimator for HC8. The data for S-HC8 and R-HC8 were collected with synchrotron radiation (λ = 0. 78965 Å) at the CRYSTAL beamline of Soleil. Data were corrected for absorption with CrysAlisPRO (41), and the structures were solved by iterative charge-flipping methods with Superflip (42). The structure refinements were carried out with CRYSTALS (43), and all nonhydrogen atoms were refined by full-matrix least squares on F using reflections with I > 2σ(I) (table S1).

Abstract: Methods, fluids, compositions, and suspensions are provided for treating subterranean formations. The fluids can be servicing fluids, such as drilling or fracturing fluids. The fluids may include an aqueous base fluid and a polysaccharide. The aqueous base fluid may be admixed with a crosslinker suspension. The crosslinker suspension may include an emulsion, an emulsifier, and a boron containing compound.

One of the biggest differences between the Echo and the Echo Plus is the in-built Zigbee smart home hub. While the Echo can communicate with other Echo devices, the Zigbee hub can communicate with non-Echo smart devices such as Philips Hue smart bulbs, smart plugs and smart switches. 

Both of the teams used the new approach to study the crystal structure of over-the-counter medicines to demonstrate how it can be used. They also both used the technique to study larger crystals—the team working in Switzerland used it to find the structure of a methylene blue derivative. The team at UoC did the same with thiostrepton.

The most common stain removers are surfactants. Examples include dish soap, laundry detergent, and many industrial suds. Surfactant molecules have two polar ends, one hydrophilic (or water-friendly) and one hydrophobic. These cleaners work a bit like velcro: One end attaches to a water molecule, one end attaches to a molecule of the stain, and off they swirl. However, the same reaction allows surfactants to remove dyes as well as stains from your clothes, so read the label before using this type of stain remover.

Abstract: A first differential amplifier output drives a first winding of a stepper motor and a second differential amplifier output drives a second winding of the stepper motor. Inputs of the first and second differential amplifiers receive input drive signals generated by either a digital to analog converter or a pulse width modulator, where the input drive signals are phase offset sinusoids. Current flowing through a stepper motor winding is sensed to generate a current sense signal. A stall sensing circuit processes the current sense signal to determine whether the stepper motor has stalled by: taking a first derivative of the current sense signal to generate a first derivative signal; taking a second derivative of the current sense signal to generate a second derivative signal; and processing one or more of the current sense signal, the first derivative signal and the second derivative signal to detect a stepper motor stall condition.

I experienced a pain in my chest last week that I initially thought was indigestion. The pain progressed so much that I tried to make myself throw up, hoping to get some relief.
